Box: The Content Cloud App Reviews

I love this app, but the latest version (4/5/16) dont have the option to choose the way how pages turn in different document types. I dont like this default version. Please bring that setting feature back.

Opens to blank screen then crashes.

After using Box for years, Im having my first problems. This last update supposedly fixed crashing issues some users were having but I did not have any issues until this update was applied. I can still access files on my computer but Box is now useless on my phone.

Upgraded to 9.3.1 on iPhone 6s Plus and iPad Air and Box crashes on both platforms constantly

I loved the app until the most recent update. The recent update has caused me issues opening things. It takes forever to load anything now. And now my documents no longer download in the background. It says network error if I move to a different app for a second. I like that the app helps keep my storage usage down. But I have now gone from feeling this app is useful five star rating to feeling it is troublesome two. Please fix the update.

I never had problems until the updates happened. Its super slow and crashes when I tap the files. Please go back to the way it was I cant do

I must have access to files without a data or wifi connection. The last update took away the ability to use or modify files offline and says there is no "network connection." Please fix! Will change rating once resolved.

Log off and log back on to your account. This fixed my issues and I have access to my missed docs.

Worked fine until the update broke it. I cant even get into the app now. I get 4 or 5 pages describing Box (like Im a new user) with no way to log in or sign up.

New update is REALLY nice. Love this app. Keep up the great work! I just started to have some issues. Crashing of an audio file that I just listened to on Box last night. Every time I try to open it it closes the whole app. Also no option given keep me signed in. Need to password each and every time. This is a phenomenal app so please fix quick.

I use this app all the time but after the 3.8.0 update, the app wont even open. It just sits there with the wheel spinning. Im using the app on an iPad 2 iOS 8.4.1. PLEASE FIX ASAP!!!

Worked pretty flawlessly before but now after the updates it keeps crashing! Please fix this!

After 3 update still the same problem you have a losers IT team … Its always crashing with new update, and cannot play video . Worst update ever . Please fix it quickly.

DO NOT UPDATE to version 3.8.2 as it wont load photos on my iPad app, which renders it useless for my work. Fortunately, I didnt update my iPhone and version 3.7.7 still works on it.

But bad if you want to view videos stored on the cloud with this app as I have to wait for the app to buffer 1 second of video in 5 seconds and then repeat. The only way to actually view videos is if you download the video file back on to your device. Photos are fine. You will get occasional error reports on select files that did not upload (3MB file) and itll show on the top right part of your screen a notification that means that a file failed to upload and I hit cancel but the notification remains every time. App is just slow but does its job at storing your photos and videos from your devices. If you want quick speeds that match the speeds of your latest devices, upgrade to google photos or drive! But again, this app is great, just slower.

Fix the app!

Offline support is OK. But when there is and update or newer version in the offline folder, it shows that newer version is available. The thing is Box never download the newer version and WORSE is that I have to download the whole folder to update a single file. Do the developers have any sense ??? If that offline features is updated, I will give more stars.

This is the most used app on my phone & pad, as i work everything from my box cloud folders. Since the last 3 updates, saving things offline is slower than before & still delayed when you open things after downloaded. In 1 test, using box in my browser was faster?!?!?!?! Not good. I like new font & feel but its been almost abysmal in function. Cmon guys. Fix it.

I am kind enough to give one star. It deserves minus stars if such thing exist as it does nothing but only crashes.
